Six years ago, Claire Bennett fell in love with Ethan Walker, heir to a wealthy Los Angeles family. Ethan proposed to Claire beneath the auroras in Iceland, and she joyfully accepted. However, the sudden death of her father Thomas Bennett plunged the family business into crisis, forcing Claire to leave without a word. Soon after, Claire discovered she was pregnant and gave birth to their son Noah alone. Six years later, Claire lives in Florida with five-year-old Noah. Her health takes a turn for the worse. Fearing she may no longer be able to care for him, she gives Noah Ethan’s photo, full name and address, sending him alone to Los Angeles to find his biological father. A paternity test confirms Noah is Ethan’s son. Shocked, Ethan immediately embraces the boy who has suddenly entered his life. Upon learning Claire is in critical condition, Ethan rushes to Florida to find her, only to discover she has already left the hospital. As their investigation deepens, Ethan and Noah uncover that Claire’s so-called medication is merely vitamins. A voice recorder Noah accidentally took with him further exposes a long-buried family conspiracy. Claire’s uncle Victor Bennett sought to seize the shares and control of the Bennett family. He was deeply implicated in the deaths of Thomas and Elena Bennett, and framed Thomas’s secretary, Mr. Reed. After being wrongfully imprisoned, Mr. Reed died. His son Michael Reed infiltrated Victor’s circle in secret, seeking to clear his father’s name.
